- Membership has been on a downward spiral for around the last ten years.  We cannot set unrealistic goals of increasing prior year’s membership until we stop the bleeding.  Therefore my goals for each post are the membership strength for that Post on the day of my installation.  I will utilize the Department Officers to reach any additional goals set by the National Organization

- The Department will meet National membership goals.

- The Department will fully challenge elected and appointed officers.

- Each District Commander should strive to revitalize at least one dormant post within his/her respective district.
However, I encourage consolidation when effort to revitalize a non-performing Post fails..

- Every District will establish, train, and maintain a team to serve as the District Membership Team.

- Every District will hold one Membership Information night within their District.

- Every Post in the immediate vicinity of a military installation, National Guard, or Reserve unit, should establish, train, and maintain a team to serve as the Reconnect team.

- Every Post and the Department should strive to be 100% by January 1st.
